An opportunity exists for a friendly and highly organised Accounts and Administration Officer, with a can-do attitude to join our vibrant, dynamic and innovative team. This is a part-time role and would suit someone who is able to work Monday to Friday, school hours.

About theposition:
The role of the Accounts and Administration Officer is to provide a high level of administrative assistance to our team, based in Darwin.
The position requires a highly organised person with excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Required to work well both independently and cooperatively as a member of a team, the position requires a person who displaysself-disciplinewith the ability to avoid distractions and diversions in order to manage their own time effectively.
The successful candidate will have an ability to; work under pressure whilst meeting deadlines; demonstrate attention to detail; show initiative and take ownership of the tasks before them whilst maintaining a positive can-do attitude.
We are looking for an Accounts and Administration Officer, who has a demonstrated ability to;
Work with effectively with a large team, and people at all levels.
Communicate professionally with customers face to face, on the phone and via email.
Prepare and process staff internal billing sheets.
Process supplier payments.
Managing outstanding receipts and invoices.
Assist with unreconciled transactions.
Budget management for credit card transactions.
Manage administrative requests and queries from the team.
Undertake research projects in a timely manner as directed.
Perform data entry, documentation, printing and filing duties.
Contribute to team meetings, discussions and planning with a willingness to share thoughts and ideas whilst maintaining flexibility and receptiveness to change and alternatives.
Prepare and maintain up to date and accurate documentation including meeting minutes.
Liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, community services, government agencies, customers and service providers.
Undertake further training and education.
To apply for this position, you must have the following:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounts or administrative role.
A current NT driver's licence.
A current NDIS Worker Screening (or the ability to obtain one)
A current national police clearance.
