We are seeking an organized and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Corporate Services Director. In this role, you will work closely with the principal to manage the financial, physical, and human resource aspects of our operations.
The ideal candidate will possess high-level HR management skills, including the ability to develop/apply HR practices and processes. They should also demonstrate problem-solving and risk management skills, with the ability to deliver innovative solutions.
* Responsibilities:
* Manage the strategic and day-to-day financial, physical, and human resources aspects of our operations in collaboration with the principal.
* Deliver effective financial administration, including financial planning, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting to achieve our objectives.
* Develop a strong team ethos within the administration team and contribute to our business plan.
* Lead a team of school support staff and ensure governance, reporting, and compliance with relevant legislation and requirements.
* Support infrastructure management, maintenance, and works projects as part of our priorities.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Strong established financial management capabilities, including experience in budget preparation and applying financial and accounting practices.
* Excellent written and interpersonal communication, and negotiation skills.
* Experience in leadership of a team and in providing high-level human resource and financial advice.
* Understanding of relevant legislation, reporting, and governance requirements related to the role.
* Experience in infrastructure management, maintenance, and works projects is advantageous.
Eligibility:
* To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.
* Obtain a valid Working With Children Check.
* Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check with a current Screening Clearance Number from the Department of Education's Screening Unit.
