Crowne Plaza Canberra is looking for a Part-time Food and Beverage attendant to grow a great team, who will deliver unforgettable experiences through warm welcome, inspired recommendations and seamless service across our Restaurant, Lume Bar and Conferencing.
Responsibilities
* Understanding the menu and promotional activities
* Handling cash and credit transactions
* Setting up and packing down functions and events
* Ensuring guest enquiries and restaurant dining reservations are followed through in a professional manner
* Preparing and serving food & drinks to a high standard as well as highlighting promotions for our guests
* Responding to colleague / guest requests promptly to deliver a seamless service in conjunction with the service team
* Collaborating with our Events team and Kitchen to provide seamless service across all Food & Beverage Offerings
* Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails and other beverages
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar role
* Attention to detail – creating amazing guest service moments with the team
* Flexibility - working weekends and public holidays are all part of the job
* Ability to work in a team and a fast‐paced environment and prioritize workloads, as well as assist in supporting the team with other duties as required
* Excellent personal grooming and hygiene standards
* Motivation – your presence will impact your team and our guests; therefore, it will be important to stay motivated and energized
* Most importantly a passion for food & beverage
* A current RSA certificate
* Working rights in Australia
