CATO Group is seeking Traffic Controllers (Great People) to join our team in Brisbane. This is a casual position based on your availability and project requirements. You'll work across a range of entertainment, events, and production logistics projects, managing traffic flow and ensuring safety at various site locations throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas. We also have a some postions avilable in the Gold Coast.
The role involves long hours working outdoors in all weather conditions, with extensive time on your feet directing and managing traffic. You'll need to obtain your traffic control license prior to engagement (if you don't already hold one), and you must have your own reliable transport to reach varied site locations.
Skills and Attributes
* Has experience in hospitality, events, or a similar fast-paced customer-facing environment (traffic control experience is not essential, but a willingness to learn and obtain your traffic control license is required).
* Is physically capable of working long hours outdoors in all weather conditions, on your feet for extended periods.
* Can handle complex, high-pressure situations with quick thinking and sound judgment whilst maintaining safety awareness at all times.
* Has reliable access to your own transport to reach different site locations independently.
* Works collaboratively with team members and is hospitable, approachable, and keen to support others on site.
* Is reliable, punctual, and demonstrates a strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
