Accident and Emergency Nursing Opportunity
This is a short-term nursing role in Accident & Emergency at a Metropolitan hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
* Digital Health Record (DHR) competency with proficiency in Electronic Patient Information Management systems.
* Confident navigation of electronic documentation, medication charts, clinical notes, and secure messaging platforms.
* Resuscitation skills, including recent proficiency in adult and paediatric resuscitation protocols.
* Knowledge of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, stroke, sepsis, de-escalation, and trauma pathways.
* Current Advanced Life Support certification required.
Triage Competency:
* Ability to apply the Australasian Triage Scale confidently and consistently.
* Adaptability to local policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure triage consistency.
Paediatric Emergency Skills:
* Experience assessing and managing paediatric presentations, including trauma, mental health, and special needs groups.
