Calibre Tutoring delivers expert math and english support to K–12 students across the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Our mission is to build confidence, improve academic performance, and foster a genuine love of learning. We're seeking dedicated and skilled tutors to join our team as independent contractors and help students reach their full potential.
Role Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic tutors to provide one-on-one, in-person math and english tutoring sessions at students' homes in the Eastern Suburbs. While the role is primarily face-to-face, occasional remote sessions may be offered if requested. You'll be responsible for assessing student needs, preparing personalised lesson plans, and tracking academic progress.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct in-home tutoring sessions in math/english for students from primary school through HSC.
* Tailor lessons to match each student's level, needs, and learning style.
* Monitor student progress and communicate feedback to parents.
* Maintain a flexible schedule for after-school or weekend sessions.
* Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
What We're Looking For:
* Strong understanding of the NSW math/english curriculum (Primary, High School, and HSC).
* Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is highly regarded.
* Clear communication skills and a passion for education.
* Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage your own schedule.
* Must be available for in-person sessions at student homes in the Eastern Suburbs.
* Valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
