We're on the hunt for a commercially switched-on, detail-driven
FP&A; Manager
to lead strategic forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling across a growing multi-entity business.
This role is based full-time in our Geelong (VIC) office.
If you've built your career in construction, manufacturing, or any project-based industry — and you're keen to shape how a business scales using data-backed strategy — then you'll fit right in.
What You'll Do
Lead group-wide budgeting and forecasting
, including annual budget cycles, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning across all entities and property trusts
Build and maintain financial models to support
strategic initiatives
, including new operations, capital investment, land acquisition, and multi-entity performance
Partner closely with
operations, estimating, and project delivery teams
to review project costing, WIP, margins, and profitability
Deliver high-quality monthly
board and executive reports
, including variance commentary, risk insights, and trend analysis
Develop and manage real-time
financial dashboards
tracking KPIs, cash flow, profitability, and project performance
Support
funding, banking, and investment
presentations with clear modelling and analysis
Help improve financial systems (e.g., ERP and reporting tools like Power BI, Workbench, Sharperlight) and streamline processes for greater accuracy and efficiency
Act as a trusted finance business partner, translating complex financial data into clear insights that drive better decisions
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who:
Brings 3+ years' experience in FP&A;, commercial finance, or management accounting
Has advanced Excel modelling and analytical skills
Can confidently produce reports and presentations for board and exec-level audiences
Has experience working across multiple business models and entities (construction or manufacturing ideal)
Is familiar with ERP systems and reporting tools like Power BI, Sharperlight, or Workbench
Knows their way around job costing, WIP reporting, and margin analysis
Communicates clearly and concisely, with a solid commercial mindset
