A collective of three companies: NPA - based in Adelaide; Riverland Almonds (RA) - the almond processing company based in Loxton SA with hulling in Lindsay Point Vic; and Australian Pioneer Pistachio Company (APPC) - the pistachio company based in Robinvale, Vic Lead the way in maintenance excellence!We’re seeking a hands-on Leading Hand – Maintenance to oversee repairs, preventative programs, and team performance across our operational sites. You’ll combine technical know-how with leadership skills to keep machinery running smoothly, minimize downtime, and ensure safety standards are met—all while fostering a collaborative, can-do culture. About the Role Lead and mentor a small team to achieve optimal performance. Oversee maintenance and repairs of processing equipment, ensuring safety, quality, and cost control. Diagnose operational problems and implement efficient solutions. Maintain workshop and storage areas to high standards of cleanliness and organization. Collaborate with management, operations, and production teams to keep everything running smoothly. Promote and enforce WHS standards and company policies. What We’re Looking For Trade Certificate or relevant experience (desirable). Current Driver’s Licence. Strong welding skills (MIG, TIG, Arc, Oxy) and hydraulic knowledge. Proven leadership ability and diagnostic skills. Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills. A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work harmoniously within a small team. Why Join Us?
