Senior Farm Hand Job Description
Coolmore Australia is a large-scale thoroughbred breeding stud situated in the picturesque Hunter Valley.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Farm Hand to join our team.
The property spans 10,000 acres, featuring irrigated river flats and rolling hills.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a large team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Operate farm machinery including haymaking, sowing, spraying and spreading equipment.
* Manage pastures, perform farm maintenance and earthworks tasks.
* Conduct fencing repairs, with major projects outsourced to external contractors.
A current and valid driver's license is essential for this role. Our internal mechanics maintain all machinery, allowing you to focus on hands-on farming activities.
The role offers diverse opportunities to develop your skills, with the possibility of specializing in areas such as irrigation, cattle management or machinery operation in the future.

Additional Information:
