Job Description
As a Senior Caregiver, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care to residents in our facilities. Your role will be to promote the physical and emotional wellbeing of residents by partnering with them to engage in meaningful activities.
You will assist residents with daily tasks such as eating, personal hygiene, and mobility, while maintaining their safety and dignity. You will also support residents to build relationships with other residents and participate in leisure activities.
Care Partners will coordinate with other staff to achieve these outcomes and liaise directly with nursing staff regarding any specific health concerns.
Duties and Responsibilities:
 * Follows care plan instructions to assist residents to maintain personal hygiene, nutritional status and mobility
 * Supports residents to use and develop their abilities to engage in any activity that is personally meaningful
 * Uses flexible and creative approaches with residents to meet duty of care while respecting residents' rights
Requirements:
 * Prior experience working in senior care
 * Possession of Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
 * Ability to engage residents through a person-centered approach to care and support
