Retail Store Manager
Highgrove Bathrooms, Shepparton, Victoria, Australia.
Highgrove Bathrooms has been supplying Australians with high‑quality bathroom, kitchen, laundry products and fittings since 2004. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager for a permanent full‑time role. The successful candidate will lead retail sales, oversee daily operations, and ensure the highest standards of customer service.
Responsibilities
* Complete store managerial duties including banking, budgets and rosters.
* Consistently achieve sales, store and personal KPI targets by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to staff.
* Action staff hiring, promotions and disciplinary procedures as required.
* Ensure thorough induction and training for all new staff members.
* Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and a fully stocked store.
* Manage all staff or customer issues (complaints, grievances, etc.).
* Manage trade accounts for the store (if applicable).
* Manage stock taking and stock control.
* Manage receipt and distribution of shipments.
* Maintain showroom and warehouse ensuring it is clean & safe at all times.
* Reporting and sales management.
* Implement, train, monitor and adhere to company WH&S standards.
* Implement, train, monitor and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Skills & Experience
* Management experience in the retail sector (plumbing or interior sales advantageous).
* Experience in managing and meeting KPI's.
* Good level of computer literacy and MS applications.
* Ability to build effective working relationships.
* Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
* Staff and Customer management skills.
* Strong organisational skills.
