About the Role
An excellent opportunity awaits a qualified Electrician or apprentices to join the Winki Energy team. Specialising in Utility and Commercial PV, BESS, and EV Charging installations, this role offers a chance to advance your skills in a rapidly growing, sustainability-focused company. Electricians who are eager to upskill in commercial solar and large-scale battery storage (BESS) are encouraged to apply.
Based in Torquay with an additional base in Melbourne, Winki Energy serves clients across Victoria. We have a large project in the Sale, Gippsland Region for approximately 8-9 months. Our team comprises 13 SAA Accredited Electricians within a dedicated staff of 40, consistently delivering high-quality work for numerous Tier 1 clients. Join our dynamic team and contribute to industry-leading projects in the renewable energy sector. We have some exciting opportunities with upcoming regional work and are looking for a mix of Electricians and apprentices to fill these roles.
Within this role you will:
* Work on large scale Tier 1 Solar C&I projects including MW+ PV and MWh Battery Storage projects
* Complete a variety of Utility and Commercial electrical work; with a focus on solar and battery installations across the Greater Victoria area
* Assist in the leadership and development of a small team
* Remain committed and self-motivated with a positive attitude towards all duties
* Provide a friendly and professional customer experience
* Conduct diagnostic work including fault finding and switchboard work
* Ensure all OHS protocols are followed at all times

About You
As our newest team member you will have:
* Full Australian Work Rights
* VIC electrical license
* Understanding of AS/NZS3000 and Service rules a must
* Experience in solar installations (preferred)
* Construction industry white card
* Excellent communication skills
* SAA Accreditation (preferred)
