Great opportunity for pharmaceutical, food & beverage or manufacturing technician to contribute to upstream processing division for vaccine production. As a fermentation technician you will:
* Assemble & operate fermenters, single use bag systems, Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF)
* Operate laboratory equipment: filter integrity testing machines, balances, pH meters, peristaltic pumps
* Perform aseptic inoculations & passaging of culture
* Complete relevant GMP paperwork
Skills & experience
* Commercial manufacturing processing skills e.g. food or beverage industry
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a GMP production facility (advantageous)
* Laboratory experience with media preparation and/or aseptic technique
* High degree of technical competence and scientific awareness.
