Job description:
Due to ongoing project success, we are now looking for experienced Track Machine Operators to join the team. These roles are well-suited to those with a high regard for safety and quality, and the demonstrated ability to operate, maintain and repair machinery.
Point of hire for this position will be Melbourne and working primarily on the MTM network in addition to other project opportunities on various rosters/locations throughout Australia. We are operating out of a new warehouse facility in Maddingly, Victoria.
Experience and capabilities
* Qualified to operate a Pandrol Jackson 6700 Tamper using Jupiter II software, or similar.
* Qualified to operate Knox Kershaw Regulators or similar.
* Relevant CERT competencies to meet the above requirements (Desirable not essential as training will be given).
* MTM Safe working competencies (highly desirable but not essential).
* HR Licence (preferable but not essential).
* Fitter and or trade experience (favourable not essential).
* Flexible to work nightshift rostering with available overtime shifts.
* Ability to drive in drive out as required.
* A strong 'team player' willing to assist other work groups when required ie. Track Construction or maintenance activities.
As a part of this role, we offer
* 4:3 night shift variable roster subject to client shut down and operational needs.
* 2 year secured contract period of works within MTM.
