Key Responsibilities
* Manage debt and asset recovery matters for national and international clients across Australian jurisdictions, including breach of contract and enforcement of guarantees and indemnities.
* Act as the Account Manager for one of the team's largest clients, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, providing exceptional client experience, and growing the spread and depth of work for the client.
* Collaborate with the Head of Disputes & Litigation to grow and enhance the practice group, acquiring and retaining similar debt and asset recovery clients.
* Lead a small team that supports the delivery of legal work and outcomes for the client(s).
* Work closely and collaboratively with team members and other units across Law Squared.
* Maintain client relationships, improve reporting and showcase value generated by the engagement.
* Support the team in achieving goals and targets aligned with Law Squared's Strategic Plan.
* Adopt and embrace technology and new tools to deliver legal work more efficiently and cost‐effectively.
* Participate in client acquisition and retention strategies on behalf of the Disputes & Litigation team.
People Development and Management
* Work with, train and mentor team members to ensure consistent quality and style in the Law Squared way.
* Support the review and improvement of service offerings, proposals, knowledge sharing and technology use.
* Assist in onboarding new team members.
Operational Excellence
* Manage large matter portfolios efficiently.
* Use data, reporting and workflows to drive performance and outcomes for clients.
* Continuously improve processes, identifying opportunities for automation and innovation.
* Apply strong project management and prioritisation skills.
* Deliver legal services consistently and with quality.
* Grow and nurture client relationships, building trust, empathy and influence at all levels.
* Comfortably present to senior executives and lead difficult conversations when required.

We set targets at the team level rather than individual, encouraging resource sharing and collaboration to achieve goals collectively.
About You
We are looking for a Senior Disputes & Litigation lawyer ready to join an innovative alternative to the traditional firm. The ideal candidate will:
* Have 10+ PQE in civil litigation.
* Have experience in general debt and asset recovery litigation across all State and Federal Courts; working with national clients on recovery matters including enforcement action; and insolvency litigation, including conducting winding‐up and creditor's petition.
* Have great attention to detail.
* Be capable of working in a team environment and collaborating where necessary.
* Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to engage key clients.
* Be comfortable in a technology‐enabled legal environment and open to adopting new tools and ways of working.
* Supervise, mentor and coach junior and/or graduate lawyers.
