Job Title: Theatre Scrub Practitioner
This role involves working in a dynamic theatre complex, supporting various specialties, including Emergency and Elective surgery. You will be responsible for preparing patients for operations, maintaining accurate records, and delivering high-quality care during the peri-operative phase.
The main duties of this role include working closely with theatre teams, assisting surgeons in simple to complex operations, and participating in preceptorship programmes and continuing professional development. You will also be required to maintain accurate completion of theatre records, documentation, and care plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Ability to provide high-quality care as set out in Theatre Standards and trust guidelines
* Able to assist surgeons in simple to complex operations and willingness to learn
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
