About the Role
Reporting to the House Manager, the Food & Beverage Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the day-to-day delivery of F&B operations across the Club. You will lead and oversee internal and external events as well as act as Duty Manager across your rostered shifts leading our high performing tea and setting the standard for service excellence and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide operational leadership across bars, restaurant, and function areas, ensuring all spaces are set up and run to the Club's high standards.
• Act as Duty Manager, leading duty supervisors and front-of-house service attendants across rostered shifts with ownership and accountability.
• Support the House Manager with leadership coverage, operational oversight, and the ongoing development of standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with the Events Coordinator, Head Chef, and House Manager to interpret and deliver event run sheets seamlessly.
• Manage bar operations including stock control, ordering, and RSA compliance.
• Lead, engage, and develop front-of-house staff to foster a positive, high-performing team culture.
• Deliver an exceptional and consistent member and guest experience in line with the Club's values and service standards.
What We're Looking For
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a hospitality management or senior leadership role, ideally within a membership-based or club environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, driving engagement and a high performance culture.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact warmly and professionally with members, guests, and external visitors.
• A sharp eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across a dynamic operational environment.
• Full working rights in Australia (no limitations or restrictions).
• Flexibility to work a general Tuesday–Saturday roster, with availability across early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as events require.
