As an integral member of the maintenance team, the Maintenance Fitter will make a strong contribution to a high performing Operations team and team culture within our site.You will provide high quality maintenance and repairs to equipment throughout the plant, with a strong emphasis on preventative maintenance, to achieve acceptable production levels and a high standard in engineering support.**Shift pattern available:** **Wednesday – Saturday 10am till 8pm (times can be negotiated)****Key Responsibilities:*** Carry out preventative maintenance to plant and equipment within the facility* Carry out service and repair of Mechanical plant and equipment within the facility, Prioritise all types of given work* Diagnose faults and carry out modifications to equipment* Participate in all training as required by the company* Effective reporting of any issues relating to company SH&E & QA policies* Point of contact when attending a breakdown**About you:**In order to be successful in this role, we are looking for an experienced maintenance fitter who has a background in both reactive and preventative industrial machinery maintenance.Experience and qualifications we would like to see include:* Trade certification with applicable trade and skilled in fitting, turning and machining* Welding experience and reasonable knowledge in tig welding is beneficial* Health, Safety and Environment knowledge, including machinery guarding* A strong growth mindset with an eagerness to learn new skills* Basic computer documentation skills in Word, Excel etc.With sites spanning across the Australasian region, working as part of a highly driven team at Goodman Fielder, you can expect to work with leading technologies producing a variety of the most reputable brands in Australia.At Goodman Fielder, we aim to be a destination employer in the food industry where we don't just offer jobs - we offer long term careers.### LocationSite Engineering (0)The easiest way to use the Job Search is to enter one or more wordsas Keywords and the Job Search will find jobs with any of your keywords in theskills, position title or location.
