We are looking for a dedicated Community Care Worker to join our team.
Job Description
This role involves traveling between clients' homes and assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centered care and support.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients and their families, while also developing their skills and knowledge in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
* Helping participants achieve goals set within their care plans
* Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, traveling to medical appointments
* Supporting customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs.
* Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Australian Federal Police Clearance
* Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
* NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
