- We're looking for permanent, full-time Hospitality Services Manager to oversee the delivery of quality hospitality services to ensure the needs of our diverse communities of residents is effectively met. You will work in close partnerships with suppliers, establish effective monitoring and evaluation of services delivered across catering, laundry and cleaning contracts. You will also support business development through active contribution to the review of new and existing development plans and implementation of additional services offerings at all residential homes.
**A typical day will have you**:
- Oversee hospitality services and schedules and ensure these are delivered across Benetas Residential homes, including monitoring the catering, cleaning, laundry and linen contracts
- Support contract management and work in close partnership with the Procurement Team in the preparation and review of tender specification
- Liaise closely with Residential, CHC & Quality teams to help drive continuous improvement and ensure the quality standards across catering, laundry and cleaning services are effectively monitored and evaluated on a regular basis
- Work closely with third-party service providers to ensure commitments and service level agreements are being adhered to (food services, cleaning, laundry and linen)
- Collaborate with the quality team to help drive continuous improvement of services and ensure the highest quality of standards
- Provide support in closely monitoring and analysing financial performance and trends
- Conduct audits of kitchen, laundries and cleaning services, ensuring any significant risks are escalated appropriately
- Design educational resources and conduct sessions on Infection Control, Food Handling and Chemical Use & Safety
- Develop, review and update relevant guidelines, policies and procedures and ensure compliance
- Manage Infection Control practices and ensure controls are in place to mitigate risks
- Provide support to leadership team in the event of an outbreak
- Maintain a strong network across the organisation and with suppliers
- Represent Benetas professionally at industry conferences, as required
- Travel to sites is required
**We're looking for someone with**:
- Tertiary qualification in Hospitality, Management or a relevant field
- Demonstrated experience as Chef/Trade Cook
- Senior management experience in hotel services in a service industry preferably in health or aged care
- Proven experience to write tender documents (including full scope of service) and ability to analyze responses and formulate recommendations
- Well-developed knowledge and sound understanding of the legislation and requirements around Food Safety, Infection Control and safe handling of chemicals
- Ability to write reports, business cases and project management plans
- Experience with education, training, cultural and change management
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data (including financial) and develop strategies for outlier results and recommendations
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to interact with executive management
