We are looking for a Rehabilitation Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals. The successful candidate will have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or Behavioural Sciences and be open to further supported study in Rehabilitation Counselling.
As a valued team member, you will play a vital role in the provision of workplace rehabilitation services. You will support people to get well and working, and help them regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake psychological assessments and conduct Vocational and Adjustment to Injury Counselling
* Identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers and design programs to assist injured employees to return to the workforce
* Liaise with clients, insurers, medical practitioners, and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties
Qualifications
* Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Psychology or Behavioural Sciences
* Willingness to commence additional studies as a Rehabilitation Counsellor, supported by WorkFocus
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
