The Opportunity
The Workforce Development Project Coordinator plays a key role in developing, coordinating, and managing Workforce Development team projects related to primary care across the WVPHN region.
As Workforce Development Coordinator, you will:
• Lead the planning and delivery of workforce development projects, including education programs, webinars and face to face training
• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify workforce gaps and design targeted learning solutions
• Build strong partnerships with primary care providers, training organisations and health services to support workforce growth and retention
• Monitor, evaluate and continuously improve programs to ensure they deliver meaningful outcomes for the region
This role suits a proactive and organised project professional who enjoys working collaboratively, delivering education initiatives and driving improvements in the primary health workforce.
Key Selection Criteria (KSCs)
Essential:
* Demonstrated experience in project coordination or management, preferably within healthcare or workforce development
* Experience coordinating and facilitating online learning programs, webinars or education sessions
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective partnerships
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise competing demands and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes
* Strong analytical, problem solving and organisational skills, with high attention to detail
Desirable:
* Project management qualification or certification
* Experience in primary care, workforce development or quality improvement initiatives
Employment requirements
· Be prepared to undergo a National Police Check, prior to appointment
· A current Victorian driver’s licence
· Working rights in Australia (visa, permanent resident, citizen)
