Clinical Affairs ManagerCochlear is the global market leader in implantable hearing solutions.
Our mission is to help people hear and be heard, and we thrive on making a difference to patients' lives.Position OverviewAs a member of the Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) team, reporting to the Senior Clinical Affairs Manager, ANZ, the Clinical Affairs Manager ensures clinical excellence across sales, support and through our relationships with key opinion leaders.
This contract position (parental leave coverage) is expected to conclude in May ****.ResponsibilitiesAct as an internal consultant and subject-matter expert in audiology, sound processors, patient management, counselling, programming and troubleshooting.Provide technical and clinical expertise on calls received via the Clinical Helpline and assist "on the spot" troubleshooting for Hearing Partner Clinicians.Develop and deliver professional education programs such as workshops, online offerings, peer-to-peer training, information sessions and roundtables.Ensure complex clinical situations are managed in accordance with best practice and provide feedback to field, product development and other teams.Assist training of new and existing Cochlear products, including Cochlear Implants, Baha implants and sound processors.Act as a conduit of information for telephone, email and website inquiries received by the Cochlear Customer Service or Field Teams.Engage healthcare professionals through product and clinical education programmes.Mentor new field team members in sales, cochlear implants and bone-anchored hearing aids.Minimum QualificationsMaster's degree (or equivalent) in Audiology.Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) or country equivalent.Minimum five years' experience in audiological management of cochlear-implant patients.Demonstrated facilitation and adult-learning skills.Ability to make timely, effective decisions and manage well under pressure.High energy, empathy and influence at all organisational levels.Strong business acumen, problem-solving, critical thinking and analysis.Ideal QualificationsExperience in a field/commercial role.Experience with learning management systems.How We Recognise Your ContributionWe celebrate continuous learning and professional development through a range of internal programmes and employee benefits.
