About the Role:
The Chief Education Officer will lead and manage the English Learning Area, driving innovation and excellence in curriculum development. They will provide professional guidance to teachers, supporting them in current curriculum updates, inclusive teaching strategies, and culturally responsive practices.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead curriculum innovation within the English Learning Area, focusing on Aboriginal Cultural Standards Framework and latest curriculum developments.
* Provide professional guidance to English teachers, supporting them in current curriculum updates, inclusive teaching strategies, and culturally responsive practices.
* Support staff in behaviour management, assessment, parent communication, and strategic planning.
* Implement performance management strategies and lead constructive conversations promoting resilience and professional growth.
* Guide the school community in embracing new approaches to literacy and curriculum design, making English more engaging and accessible for all students.
* Maintain high-level data analysis, monitor student progress, evaluate teaching effectiveness, and inform strategic planning.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
* A valid Working With Children Check.
* Australian or New Zealand citizenship.
