Responsibilities
As the Project Manager, you will:
* Champion the delivery of major utility-scale renewable projects, including solar farms and battery energy storage, through the full project lifecycle—from contract negotiation to operational handover.
* Oversee project planning, scheduling, risk, and budget management, ensuring each project is delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
* Lead multi-disciplinary teams and site-based personnel, fostering collaboration among internal and external stakeholders (including contractors, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and community representatives).
* Manage the EPC contractor and related sub-contractors during construction, with hands-on involvement in resolving challenges and optimising project outcomes.
* Ensure compliance with all contracts, design requirements, regulatory approvals, and safety/environmental obligations, leveraging your strong experience in Australian standards.
* Drive cost savings, efficiency, and high performance by identifying improvements and closely monitoring key metrics such as milestones, risks, and budget adherence.
* Prepare and present comprehensive project documentation, reports, and progress updates for internal and external audiences.

Skills Required
* Demonstrated leadership in delivering large-scale utility renewable projects in Australia, ideally across all project phases: contracting, execution, operations.
* Advanced project management skills with proficiency in Microsoft Project and the broader Microsoft Office suite.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities.
* Outstanding problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
* Strong risk management and cost control experience in complex engineering projects.
* Proven ability to drive team performance and maintain momentum in dynamic site-based environments.
* Thorough understanding of compliance, HSE requirements, and quality assurance in the Australian consulting engineering sector.
* Adaptability, attention to detail, and resilience in the face of changing demands and project challenges.
* Australian Driving Licence and full Australian working rights required.
