Lead Solution Architect
* Band 11 - $163,604 + 12% superannuation
* Full time, Ongoing
* Geelong location (hybrid working model – 3 days in office / 2 days from home)

About the role
The Lead Solution Architect is a key leadership position in the WorkSafe Technology division and operates at a senior level, to influence and ensure technology investment is optimised. The Lead Solution Architect is required to engage with key business and technology stakeholders ensuring effective business outcomes that align with WSV's strategic direction.
Key accountabilities:
1. Lead and mentor domain, solution and technical architects, ensuring adherence to architectural principles, best practices, and standards, as well as the creation and maintenance of architecture documentation including high level designs, technical specification and integration diagrams
2. Review and approve technical designs to ensure they meet quality standards, security requirements and business objectives. Identify potential risks or challenges and proactively develop mitigation strategies as required
3. Provide guidance on technical challenges and decision-making, ensuring that design choices support both current needs and future scalability
4. Define and implement architectural governance processes to ensure consistency and alignment across all solutions and ensure solutions are designed with the consideration of security, compliance and regulatory requirements.
* Lead efforts to balance quality, time, and cost constraints, ensuring that the chosen solutions are both effective and cost-efficient and recommend and implement strategies for optimizing resources and operational costs while maintaining solution quality and performance.

About you
You will bring significant experience architecting solutions using various industry leading enterprise platforms to provide guidance across initiatives. You pride yourself on strong problem-solving, and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering efficient solutions to complex business challenges. Your proven experience in leading other solution and technical architects, highlights your excellent leadership skills and ability to foster collaboration within cross-functional teams.
Further, you will also possess:
* Extensive experience in Program Architecture, with specific demonstrable experience in data, applications and integration architectures.
* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Exceptional proven stakeholder management and interpersonal skills including coaching, facilitation, influencing, negotiation skills, and the ability to adapt these to a diverse range of stakeholders and contexts.
* Proven expertise executing projects across various organizational functional domains.
