About the Role
We are currently seeking to appoint a Full Time (Permanent) – IT Project Manager (Aged Care) at THQ Redfern, NSW.
Purpose of the Role
The role of IT Project Manager is responsible for managing/coordinating the implementation of TSA Aged Care IT projects as required. The role will be responsible for managing project end‐to‐end processes aligned with best practice project management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide project leadership including Projects, Governance and People to ensure high performance and alignment to existing framework to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
* Manage the planning, execution, and closure of Aged Care IT projects, ensuring they align with strategic objectives.
* Ensure project plans, methodology and change management practices are consistent and compliant with IT PMO and CAD requirements.
* Deliver project outcomes in line with key project parameters such as budget, time, and benefit realisations.
* Support Change Management activities.
* Identify and build relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders for each project, managing expectations and providing regular and meaningful opportunities to provide both feedback and updates on project progress, critical staging points and outcomes.
* Effectively manage project‐related risks and issues, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are in place.
* Work closely with and monitor strategic relationships and vendor(s).
Qualifications and Experience
* Project management experience in delivering cross‐functional projects across the full project life‐cycle including developing business cases, managing stakeholder engagement, vendor management, working within a defined organisational framework and model, organisation change management, technical change management, managing budgetary and resourcing constraints and experience driving change and the ability to set direction.
* Experience in managing technology projects including technology infrastructure & aged care applications.
* 5+ years of project management experience; aged care experience is highly desirable.
Educational Skills Required
* Desirable – Tertiary qualifications in Business Management or Project Management.
* Mandatory – Professional project management qualifications / certification i.e. PMP, MSP, PRINCE2, Scrum, Agile, Lean Sigma.
