Our award-winning South Queensland Bridge team is seeking Structural Drafters and Revit modellers who are ready to take a step-up in their career and join us at the frontline of digital engineering development in transport infrastructure.
We are looking to grow our local dedicated bridge drafting team. Working with the Bridges Team Leader as part of our strong drafting and engineering team, this position offers the chance to be involved in exciting infrastructure projects and advance your development in BIM and Bridge projects.
**This role will see you**:
- Working closely with bridge engineers to produce drawings and models to meet client specifications, project briefs and tenders;
- Preparing detailed structural models and drawings of bridges and other transport infrastructure, including full set-out and dimensioning and detailed drafting of bridge structural components;
- Coordinating with other transport engineering disciplines, working in an integrated design environment;
- Develop your skills in bridge drafting and modelling on major projects, and give you exposure to the latest customised Revit tools and processes in bridge engineering; and
- You will be closely mentored by very experienced bridge drafters and modellers, to really advance your development quickly.
**What you will bring to the team**

- Experience in the production of structural engineering drawings of reinforced and prestressed/precast concrete and structural steel.
- Experience in drafting of bridges for TMR, RMS, MRWA, VICRoads, Queensland Rail and/or other state road agencies and local authorities is desirable, but not essential;
- Understanding of the structural drafting drawing or model production process, and ability to coordinate and collaborate with other disciplines;
- Experience in design technology and processes, in particular with AutoCAD and Revit which is essential for this role;
- Robust written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely;
- A passion for details in engineering design and an interest in adopting new and innovative 3D modelling tools; and
- 5 to 10 years of experience in bridge modelling/drafting, and an Associate Diploma (Civil) or similar.
