Responsibilities
* Drive commercial growth and consumer value by defining and optimising pricing strategies for both existing products and new propositions.
* Lead the development of B2B commercial rate cards and tech platform pricing to ensure sustainable revenue through direct and partner channels.
* Utilise customer research, competitive intelligence, and data analytics to provide actionable pricing recommendations and business case inputs.
* Model price elasticity for cover prices and subscriptions to optimise price points and evaluate the effectiveness of tactical promotional initiatives.
* Proactively manage and optimise all live price books, ensuring quality control, compliance with governance, and mitigation of pricing exceptions.
* Collaborate with acquisition teams to test pricing hypotheses and align specific price points to audience segments through a rigorous, inquisitive testing framework.
* Highly analytical with an understanding of statistical modelling, forecasting and pricing best practice.
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand complex business drivers and structures.
* Experience working with large complex datasets.
* The ability to identify, evaluate and develop customer value management strategies and promotional tactics that optimise customer and business outcomes for subscriptions and circulation.
