Who are we looking for?
* Strong hands-on experience in commercial facilities operations, including maintenance coordination, contractor management and day to day building support
* Relevant qualifications in Facilities Management, Property, Building Services, Trades or a related field are beneficial, or equivalent practical experience
* Good communicator who enjoys working with tenants, clients and service partners.
* Organised, responsive and able to juggle priorities
* Experience supporting or overseeing tenant fit outs, refurbishments or building works beneficial
The Role
As Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operation, presentation and maintenance of large commercial properties across Canberra office market. This is a hands on, site based role where you will take ownership of facilities delivery, overseeing maintenance, contractors, inspections and on site support across multiple buildings.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the day to day facilities management of commercial buildings
* Coordinate contractors and maintenance (planned and reactive), and follow work through to completion.
* Carry out regular site inspections to identify issues early and take practical action to resolve maintenance or presentation concerns and ensuring compliance.
* Work across multiple sites and supporting property managers as required, while building strong working relationships with client, tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
