Bring your creativity to life by sharing your love of arts and crafts with residents at HammondCare Aged Care Home in Erina. This is a joyful, hands‐on role where your artistic flair can inspire others and spark meaningful moments.
You'll help residents create their own beautiful pieces — from painting to paper craft, knitting to collage, and everything in between. With a huge range of materials and resources available on site, there's plenty of room for imagination and fun.
If you enjoy making, creating, and connecting, this role is a wonderful way to brighten someone's day while doing something you love.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of the clients cared for by HammondCare.
HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements
* 18 years or older
* NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
* The commitment is one hour per week for a minimum of 6 months. We would be delighted to talk with you about a suitable day and time during the week (Monday to Friday).
