Job Title: Cleaning and Trolley Operative
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable individual to join our team as a Cleaning and Trolley Operative. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
About the Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for completing tasks allocated to you in the daily planner, which may include sweeping the shop floor, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolleys, and team rooms, as well as emptying bins. You will also collect trolleys on foot from the car park and surrounding areas, and work across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sweeping the shop floor, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolleys, and team rooms.
* Emptying bins and collecting trolleys on foot from the car park and surrounding areas.
* Working across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs.
* Providing assistance to customers by answering questions or providing directions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have an ambitious mindset, a love of retail, and a passion for people. You should be physically fit and able to stand for long periods, lift loads between 5-10kgs, and work in different environments such as the shop floor, fridges, freezers, and carparks. Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 5pm is essential.
