We're partnering with a growing mining company to appoint a Perth-based Exploration Manager to lead resource growth and development across their high-grade operations in WA.
About the Role:
This is a newly created, corporate-based position reporting directly to the COO. You'll lead a capable team of geologists and technicians while overseeing exploration strategy, tenement management, and heritage engagement. The business has recently secured long-term approvals, unlocking the next decade of operational activity and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead exploration and resource development strategies
* Oversee tenement compliance, native title, and heritage matters
* Manage and mentor a team of geologists and technicians
* Ensure compliance with JORC and reporting standards
* Support strategic acquisitions and technical evaluations
About You:
* Must have AU working rights (PR or Citizenship)
* Tertiary qualifications in Geology or Earth Sciences
* Ability to sign off on JORC reports
* Familiar with tools such as Leapfrog, Surpac, QGIS, DataShed
* Experience across any commodity will be considered
Location:
Perth corporate office. Some site travel as required.
