Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and leading large multidisciplinary teams, overseeing construction operations, driving project delivery, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage site culture and lead teams through various project stages
* Oversee all construction operations, ensuring sites are run efficiently and safely
* Drive budget and schedule delivery, achieving project milestones
* Communicate effectively with clients, maintaining positive relationships
* Enforce safe work practices, training personnel, and meeting HSE standards
* Review site plans, ensuring they align with project objectives
* Identify and mitigate potential project risks
* Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety procedures
Requirements:
* Minimum 10 years experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in construction or project management
* Qualifications in engineering and/or trade backgrounds
* Previous experience in design management or construction management, particularly in the mining or materials handling sectors
* Strong knowledge of current construction and mining industry safety legislation and standards
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Proven leadership skills and experience
* Current National Police clearance
