Purpose
To oversee and manage all daily café operations, ensuring smooth service delivery, high food standards, and a welcoming customer experience from back-of-house to front-of-house.

Cafe Manager
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate day-to-day café operations to ensure efficient service delivery and consistent customer satisfaction.
* Plan and organise seasonal promotions, specials, and in-house events to attract and retain customers.
* Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff on menu planning - including new dish development, cost control, and ensuring consistent food quality and presentation.
* Monitor customer satisfaction and respond professionally to feedback or complaints.
* Implement and maintain rigorous food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards; oversee cleanliness of dining and service areas.
* Create and manage staff rosters in line with business needs and labor budget targets.
* Handle staff recruitment, onboarding, training, supervision, and periodic performance review to maintain a competent and motivated team.
* Manage inventory and stock control : order supplies, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain accurate purchasing and payment records.
* Oversee cash-handling procedures, POS operations, banking, and daily reconciliations — ensuring accurate financial controls.
* Assist the Director in sales forecasting, budgeting, and reviewing financial performance to support business planning and growth.
* Manage reservations and customer bookings, ensuring efficient guest flow and high-quality service coordination.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and relevant health and safety regulations.
Mandatory Requirements
* Relevant Qualification.
* At least 3 years of working experience is preferred.
* Customer service oriented.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to lead and manage the team.
* Passionate about good food, coffee culture, and delivering high standards of service.
* Creative and motivated, with initiative and a positive attitude.
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision, yet also function well in a team.
* Professional in appearance and attitude; reliable and committed.

What we offer
* Competitive salary : $70,000 - $80,000 + Super
