Stevens Partners, one of Adelaide’s leading Conveyancing and Property firms, is looking to employ a motivated Trainee or Junior Conveyancer to join our experienced team and learn about all aspects of the conveyancing industry.

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and enthusiastic individual interested in an entry level position into a paralegal environment where they will be working with experienced conveyancers who will provide training for the role; focusing on assisting with and progressing conveyancing matters whilst providing excellent client service.

This full-time position offers an exceptional development opportunity supporting career growth and personal development whilst working with the established client base of a leading conveyancing firm that holds an excellent reputation for specialising in providing end to end solutions and one-off transactions in the conveyancing and property sector.

We encourage applicants with little or no conveyancing experience however are seeking an individual willing to learn and be trained to build solid foundations for future progression into more complex transactions.

Initial duties & progressive training areas:

·Deliver high quality customer service by answering phone calls professionally and courteously.

·Attend to reception duties

·Prepare and manage coordination of client meetings, board room bookings, agenda preparation and critical date management.

·Manage file setups and data entry tasks.

·Liaise with banks, councils, solicitors, conveyancers, and real estate agents.

·Conduct property searches.

·Draft correspondence and general system generated documents.

·Complete internal documents and conveyancing processes.

·Involvement in settlement preparations for both electronic and paper formats.

·Preparation and lodgement of Land Services forms.

·Manage your own settlement portfolio whilst continuing to assist experienced conveyancers with more complex transactions.

Skills & attributes:

·Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

·Great organisational skills & ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines.

·Keen attention to detail.

·Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

·Willingness to learn in a supported environment.
