The Opportunity
We're seeking a
Customer Banking Consultant
at our Mackay branch to be the first point of contact for our customers and help them navigate their banking needs. You'll deliver high-quality, efficient service, actively identify customer needs, and connect them with the right banking solutions. This role is key in creating a seamless and exceptional customer experience while contributing to the growth and success of our branch.

Your Impact

* Deliver superior customer service by processing transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, account openings, and closures.
* Act as the voice of the customer, championing improvements in our services and processes.
* Identify customer needs and refer them to specialist services where appropriate.
* Maintain compliance with Auswide Bank's policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
* Actively contribute to achieving individual and team targets through sales and service excellence.
* Support onboarding of new customers and assist team members as required.
* Promote digital banking solutions such as ATMs, internet banking, and other alternative channels.
* Resolve customer concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary.

What You Bring

* Experience in retail or financial services with a strong customer service focus.
* Knowledge of retail banking products and customer needs is desirable.
* Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills.
* Ability to use multiple computer systems effectively.
* Proven ability to meet performance objectives and contribute to team goals.
* Adaptability to different customer situations with a solution-focused mindset.
