The Role: Silcom Recruitment seeks an experienced General Sales Manager to join a highly regarded family‐operated enterprise renowned for its exemplary customer service and diverse selection of high-quality vehicles and automotive services, situated on the outskirts of Southampton. This role will involve a focus on both new & used cars.
Responsibilities & Requirements
* Providing leadership, guidance, and motivation to the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
* Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
* Overseeing inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of vehicles, and optimising inventory turnover.
* Providing training and development opportunities for sales staff to enhance their skills and performance.
* Ensuring that the highest standards of customer service are maintained throughout the sales process, from initial contact to after‐sales support.
* Motor trade experience essential!
Package
* Basic Salary up to £45,000
* OTE £70k uncapped
* Company car
* Monday to Saturday hours [with a day off in the week] + No Sundays
