The Opportunity
In this role, you will become a key technical backbone of the laboratory operation, ensuring systems reliability, performance and compliance across a complex scientific environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the performance, reliability and lifecycle of specialised laboratory and genomics equipment
Executing preventative maintenance programs, calibration checks and system upgrades
Rapidly diagnosing system faults and delivering practical, efficient solutions
Acting as the technical bridge between laboratory users and international support teams
Managing critical spare parts and supplier relationships to ensure operational continuity
Producing clear, structured technical documentation aligned with accreditation and audit frameworks
Conducting routine operational reviews to optimise equipment efficiency and uptime
Supporting site logistics and inventory management activities as required
