Federal Hospitality Equipment, a leading supplier of commercial kitchen and hospitality equipment, is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team in Welshpool, Western Australia.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse and maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity.
Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products.
* Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and implement effective inventory control procedures.
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely order processing, accurate order fulfilment, and efficient workflow.
* Maintain proper handling of products, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
* Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Identify areas for process improvement and implement measures to enhance operational efficiency.
* Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to warehouse operations and elevate when necessary.
* Collaborate with the State Manager to develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures.
* Prepare regular reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, productivity, and quality metrics.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager or supervisor role within the hospitality equipment or related white goods industry.
* Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
* Excellent organizational and problem‐solving abilities, with the ability to be self‐driven while working unsupervised.
* Proficient in using warehouse management systems and software. SAP Business on experience is preferred.
* Good understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced and dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
* Current forklift license is mandatory.
