Seeking a dedicated and experienced Live-in Motel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. This role is ideal for a proactive individual or couple with strong hospitality management experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to maintain a high standard of service and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operations, including reservations, check-ins, and check-outs
* Manage and supervise housekeeping and maintenance staff
* Ensure guest satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service
* Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally
* Maintain accurate financial records, including daily reports and budgeting
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure rooms and facilities meet quality standards
* Perform basic maintenance and liaise with external contractors for major repairs
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations
* Manage stock levels for supplies and order as needed
* Promote the motel through local marketing initiatives
Requirements:
* At least 3 years proven experience in motel or hotel management
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
* Minimum bachelor's or higher education in highly relevant field
* Skill assessment by relevant authority is advantage
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
* Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office
* Understanding of financial reporting and budget management
* Ability to handle minor maintenance tasks
* Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification (or willingness to obtain)
