Desktop Support Engineer Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our organization in Brisbane.
About the Role
* Provide timely and efficient desktop support for all end users within the organization, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
* Conduct system diagnostics and troubleshoot hardware/software issues, resolving problems promptly to maintain system functionality.
* Manage active directory operations, including user account maintenance, password resets, and permission updates.
* Perform hardware installations, replacements, and upgrades, keeping equipment current and functional for user needs.
* Support network connectivity, ensuring stable and secure access for all devices linked within the organization network.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with colleagues and other IT professionals to streamline processes and enhance the IT service delivery model.
* Implement and support security measures, ensuring data protection and compliance with existing IT policies.
* Document all procedures and troubleshooting steps accurately for future reference and process improvement.
Requirements
* Proficient in Windows OS troubleshooting with extensive experience in handling system issues.
* Skilled in active directory management, including adding and removing users, managing permissions, and directory structuring effectively.
* Experienced in Microsoft Office 365 support, providing assistance with installations, updates, and troubleshooting for end users.
* Able to troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, ensuring seamless networking and communication in the organization.
This mid-level position involves providing top-notch desktop support services and requires an individual with strong technical skills and troubleshooting expertise. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless support delivery.
