Do you like working with people and animals whilst providing high levels of customer service. We are looking for the right person to join our team as a permanent part time role for an afternoon Veterinary Receptionist role. The role would be Monday to Friday from approximately 12pm to 6pm (hours able to be slightly flexible for the right candidate) based in our veterinary Clinic in Goulburn. We are a busy 6 vet clinic that treats animals both at the clinic and on farms.
Working hours are flexible within a negotiable range around the core afternoon shift times.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Welcoming clients and their pets with professionalism and warmth
· Managing phone enquiries, bookings (consults, surgeries and on farm)
· Assisting with general administrative and front desk duties
· Processing payments
· Working with our team of vets and nurses to provide the highest level of care to our patients.
About you
Experience in reception or administration is desirable but not essential. Experience within the veterinary industry would be seen as favourably but not essential. We are more interested in your attitude, communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
