About Our Client
Our client is one of WA's most influential land and property developers, responsible for a vast and diverse portfolio that contributes to the state's growth. They specialise in long-term, large-scale projects that unlock commercial potential and create thriving, sustainable communities where people can live and work. With a culture built on integrity, strategic collaboration, and a commitment to excellence, they operate with a vision that balances commercial outcomes with lasting community benefit.
The Opportunity
As a Development Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering this vision. You will be responsible for autonomously co-ordinating a range of standard projects, while also leveraging your expertise to assist Senior Development Managers on larger, more complex initiatives.
This role demands a blend of commercial acumen and strategic thinking. You will:
- Complete project business cases and manage delivery to agreed financial and project outcomes.
- Manage cost planning, expenditure, and cash flow forecasting using established systems and processes.
- Co-ordinate and facilitate team vision, breaking down project scope and allocating resources to ensure outcomes are achieved.
- Plan and implement sales strategies, managing contracts and post-sale obligations in conjunction with internal teams.
- Procure services and prepare high-level submissions within established corporate governance policies.
Who We're Looking For
You are a development professional with a proven ability to navigate complex projects from conception to completion. Your strength lies in your ability to manage a diverse range of stakeholders and competing interests to achieve required outcomes.
Ideally you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in financial management and delivering projects to budget.
- A track record of working effectively within established systems, policies, and processes.
- Proven leadership capability, with the ability to co-ordinate internal and external team members to facilitate a shared vision.
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
A Unique Career Proposition
This role offers unparalleled project diversity. You will move beyond the constraints of a typical development cycle and contribute to legacy projects with time horizons and a scale rarely seen in the private sector. Your work will have a visible, lasting impact on communities across the state. This is your opportunity to apply your skills to a portfolio of true significance.
