• We are looking for a security shift supervisor to join our team In this permanent full-time role, you will coordinate and lead security and emergency responses of security officers at West Moreton Health facilities.
About the role

As the Security Shift Supervisor, you will coordinate and lead the safety, security and emergency responses of the Fire Safety & Security Officers on shift and act as the liaison to attending Police and Corrections escorts into the hospital to assist in maintaining a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
This role will have direct supervision of up to 8 FTE and will be required to undertake shift work covering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
* Ability to supervise a security services team within a healthcare or similar organisation with respect to legislative and procedural requirements, and coordinate staff and procedures in emergency situations.
* Advanced interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of people.
* Ability to work effectively both autonomously and in a team environment.
* Sound knowledge of Acts, regulations, standards, practices and procedures relevant to the provision of security fire, safety and security services.
* Ability to identify, analyse, exercise sound judgement and resolve operational issues.
Mandatory Requirements
* Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
