Whatnot is the largest livestream shopping platform in North America and Europe, connecting buyers and sellers across thousands of categories. Our remote, co‑located team works across the US, UK, Ireland, Poland, Germany and Australia, driving fast, high‑impact growth.
Role
As a Marketing Associate at Whatnot, you will help grow buyer demand across key Australian categories. You will execute integrated campaigns, events, and influencer partnerships to drive community buzz and conversions.
* Develop and execute campaigns that generate community buzz and drive demand on Whatnot.
* Plan and launch product release campaigns and support on‑platform events and key community moments across multiple channels.
* Manage a portfolio of influencers – relationship management, campaign ideation, execution, and reporting.
* Partner with the global social team to develop and execute social media strategy, including managing a social calendar and advising on content for tentpole campaigns.
You
* Have 3+ years of marketing experience in a fast‑paced environment.
* Experience in category marketing, events, social media marketing and influencer marketing.
* Can run digital marketing campaigns with proven ability to conceptualise, produce and drive conversion.
* Comfortable working directly with influencers and creators.
* Strong project management skills, owning execution across multiple marketing channels.
* Immersed in internet culture and passionate about creator communities and Whatnot product categories.
* Data‑driven, experienced tracking growth KPIs and monitoring marketing program success.
* Proficient with digital platforms and data analytics tools.
* Scrappy and flexible, able to pivot quickly in a fast‑paced startup environment.
* Experience at a high‑growth startup, marketplace, or creator‑focused platform is a plus.
