There is an intriguing opening for a competent Payroll Officer to join the team. You will report to the Payroll Manager and have a variety of responsibilities, including:
Process a high volume of payroll transactions, such as pay runs, calculations, and award interpretations
Provide precise and accountable advice on payroll issues and entitlements
Construct and reconcile Monthly journals and a General Ledger
Include terminations, extended service leave, and employee contracts in your calculations.
Currently, the majority of our services are focused on satisfying the requirements of existing clients across our organisation and network. However, we are aiming to expand delivery of these services to clients of our company who are not currently utilising them, as well as pursuing new clients.
**Responsibilities**:
- Managing a customised client portfolio and directing the delivery of payroll-related services to existing customers.
- Working with the Payroll Manager to provide exceptional service in an outsourced payroll environment in order to establish a centre of excellence.
- Preparing all payroll calculations, adhering to accuracy and attention to detail at all times, and submitting them on time.
- Manage day-to-day client matters and identify service expansion opportunities.
- Appropriately attending to or facilitating client question responses
- When required, planning and administering payroll transitions or implementations from ocher providers.
- Compliance with current legislation such as superannuation, payroll tax,
- PAYG and terminations is facilitated.
- Follow and maintain a consistent approach to co-payroll processing for all clients, with a strong emphasis on client-specific documentation.
