Job Description RESPONSIBILITIESReporting to the Health Club & Spa Manager, the incumbent will:Adhere to the Spa Policy & Standard Operating ProceduresPerform massage and body treatments in a safe, professional and hygienic mannerAct as an ambassador for the spa representing the values of the brand and AccorKnowledgeable about all aspects of treatments, retail, facility, and current offersMaintain inventory of products to perform treatments in an orderly and neat fashionMaintain cleanliness standards of treatment rooms and facilityReport for appointments on time, including adequate preparation time, and thoroughly review appointments before after completing each serviceAlways maintain a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor with guests/membersAssist in maintenance of treatment room(s) and other areas of facility where possibleMaintain appropriate tracking of guest medical forms and ensure each guest signs one prior to treatmentRecognize arrivals of all VIP guests arriving in both the spa and hotelResponsible for driving the guest experience and communication amongst the colleagues orchestrating a smooth guest sequence deliveryEnsure guest preferences and special requests are accommodated to the best of the property's and operation's abilityEnsure guest satisfaction at all times by assuring safety and guest service is always the spa's first priorityPerform regular treatments and facility audits to maintain brand standardsWork to ensure the spa is receiving the highest ratings/scores for both VOG and LQA, and that guest satisfaction remains a constant priorityResponsible for contributing to daily and monthly retail and/or treatment targetsSupport the rest of your colleagues when requestedUnderstand and Adhere to the Accor Ethics & CSR bookMaintain guest confidentiality at all timesDeal with any guest complaints, comments or concerns with discretion and urgencyParticipate in daily/monthly communication meetingsLead by example in following all safety procedures and practices by the propertyReport any dysfunctional equipment, potential hazards or emergencies to management immediatelyOther duties as assigned Qualifications Your Skills and Qualifications Include:Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of PennsylvaniaCertification from an accredited school of Massage requiredCurrently certified in First Aid and CPRMust be able to work nights, weekends and shift workPrevious experience as a Massage TherapistpreferredExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Additional Information Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):Constant walking and standing during shiftMay occasionally exert up to 25 pounds lift, carry, push, or pull objectsVisa Requirements: Must have proof of valid U.S. work authorization.Our Commitment to Diversity & InclusionFairmont Pittsburgh is an equal opportunity employer.
