With over 30 years in the industry, Porter Plant, a proven leader in the plant and equipment dry hire industry, have a vacancy in our Dry Creek depot for a Labourer to work in the Yard.
This position has a primary focus to maintain, coordinate and take responsibility for the Yard and the assets in Dry Creek, South Australia.
Your day/week will involve;
* Managing the on and off hire of plant and equipment in the yard and the associated activities
* Taking ownership and responsibility for the facility and yard's presentation, storage and housekeeping
* Ensure assets in the yard are of a high quality and are safe and roadworthy ready for hire
* Maintain communication with contractors, subcontractors, internal and external customers
* Maintain a safety working environment with the depot
To be successful in the role you will need;
* Forklift Licence - Essential
* HR Licence - Desirable
* Chain of Responsibility – training provided
* Load and Unload – training provided
* Mechanical aptitude
* Computer literate
* Strong sense of pride and attention to detail
* Ability to adhere to processes and procedure
