A well-established national insurance practice is seeking an Associate to join its Sydney team, working across CTP and personal injury matters for a broad range of insurer clients.

The Role
Working closely with experienced insurance practitioners, you will manage and assist on a range of personal injury and CTP matters, advising insurer clients on liability, strategy and risk management issues.
The role will involve:
* Managing a caseload of CTP common law claims
* Advising clients on liability, quantum and litigation strategy
* Drafting court documents and preparing matters for hearing
* Attending mediations, conferences and settlement negotiations
* Conducting advocacy across various jurisdictions
* Working directly with clients and building strong professional relationships
While the primary focus is CTP and personal injury litigation, there may also be opportunities to gain exposure to broader insurance disputes as the practice continues to grow.
About You
This opportunity is likely to suit a lawyer with approximately 4+ years' post‐qualification experience gained within a personal injury, insurance or litigation practice.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in personal injury litigation, preferably acting for insurers
* Exposure to CTP common law claims or defendant insurance work
* Strong communication and relationship‐building skills
* Well‐developed drafting and analytical abilities
* A commercial and strategic approach to litigation
* The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
Candidates with experience acting for employers, occupiers or defendants in personal injury matters are also encouraged to apply.
